Faith Lutheran is located in Albany in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon. We are a friendly community of believers in Jesus Christ, rooted in the Lutheran tradition. We invite you to worship with us - all are welcome. Our church is at the corner of Queen and Elm in Albany, near Memorial Middle School and West Albany High School.

Events and Highlights

  • Special Council Meeting, Tuesday, June 30th at 6:30 p.m.
  • Pictorial Directories have arrived. Pick yours up in the Fireside Room, one directory per family/individual photographed. If you were not photographed and would like a copy please contact the church office.
  • Camp Lutherwood - Get Drenched Come join us as we explore how God's love completely DRENCHES us in all we do at camp and beyond! Participate in swimming, creek walks, hikes, climbing tower, games, crafts, silly songs, awesome counselors, and so much more! Register online at Camp Lutherwood.org or call 541-998-6444. Two additions to the Gret Drenched schedule have been made. Creekside Village is now open July 5-10 and Explorer is open July 19-24.
  • Thrivent Picnic, Saturday, July 25th from 10 - 4 at Wortman Park West in McMinnville. There will be food, games, fun, and fellowship for all. Bring a side dish/salad or dessert to share, your own table service, and lawn chairs.
  • ELCA Churchwide Assembly starts August 17th. Starting June 29th and leading up to this event our church is invited to join with congregations and individuals across the country to pray for wisdom in discernment for the ELCA and voting members of the Assembly. The ELCA has published a guide to these 50 Days of Prayer.

Opportunities

Council vacancy for Stewardship Chairperson. If you are interested in learning more about this position please see our Vice President Mark Schaffner.
Cornerstone The Cornerstone Youth Center is open Monday through Friday 2:30 - 5:30 at the corner of Queen & Elm.
Sound System Operators needed If you are high school age or older and have an interest in working with our sound system contact the church office or Bob Buswell to sign up. You will receive training and be assigned to a time slot when you are ready.
