Confirmation

Middle Schoolers in grades 7 - 8 meet at 5 p.m. on Sundays during the school year.

Pre-confirmation youth in grades 5 - 6 meet during the Sunday Christian education hour during the school year.

Pastor Dawn and parent volunteers share the responsibility for leading these youth on their confirmation journey, that culminates in the Rite of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday.

The Cornerstone is a ministry of Faith Lutheran Church seeking to provide a safe place for the children and youth of Albany.

The Cornerstone has developed as an outreach ministry of Faith Lutheran Church to kids in the area. It is open every day after school from 2:30 until 5:30 during the school year.

Its intention is to provide caring adults and opportunities for fellowship. There is complimentary buffet of peanut butter, jelly, bread, lemonade and cookies, as well as other snacks depending on the day. Computers are provided with Internet access for gaming as well as homework. Other things to do include Air Hockey, Foosball, Board Games, Bible Study, Fun and more!

The Cornerstone is in its own building on the southeast corner of Queen and Elm, conveniently located near Memorial Middle School and West Albany High School.

FLY

The Faith Lutheran Youth group is for middle schoolers and high school age youth. It meets almost every Sunday evening at the church during the school year. See the calendar for specific dates and special activities.
